Pray.tokyo organizes information about places in Japan that may be usable for prayer, quiet religious observance, or reflection, based on official sources, public information, and user submissions.
The service is not limited to users of any particular religion, while it is designed with Muslim travelers in mind.
We prioritize checking official sources, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or freshness of hours, closures, access conditions, admission requirements, in-building locations, or facility details.
Before visiting, please recheck the linked official page, on-site guidance, posted signs, and facility staff.
Prayer spaces in shops, hotels, hospitals, universities, attractions, and commercial facilities may be limited to customers, guests, patients, students, or visitors.
Always check restricted areas, ticket gates, security areas, shop or hotel access rules, and do not enter without permission or disturb facilities or other users.
Map pins may represent a building-level or venue-level coordinate rather than the exact room entrance. We do not guarantee exact room location, floor, indoor route, or navigation accuracy.
When traveling, rely on on-site guidance, signs, traffic rules, facility staff, and your own judgment.
The service may link to or depend on third-party services and sites such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, OpenFreeMap, OpenStreetMap, MapLibre, official facility pages, and Google Forms.
Use of those services is subject to their own terms, licenses, and privacy policies. Map data may involve OpenStreetMap contributors attribution and ODbL conditions.
By submitting official URLs, reference URLs, photos, notes, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit them and that they do not infringe copyrights, portrait rights, privacy, facility rules, or other rights or rules.
Only submit photos that you are allowed to take and share. Do not submit photos containing people, personal information, restricted areas, unauthorized photography, or anything that may inconvenience a facility.
You grant Pray.tokyo operators a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted information and photos for review, editing, translation, summarization, publication candidate processing, revision tracking, and service improvement.
Your rights in your submitted content are not transferred to Pray.tokyo.
You may not submit false or misleading information, disturb facilities or users, infringe rights, post discriminatory or abusive content, attempt unauthorized access, scrape excessively, disrupt the service, or violate laws or public order.
Rights in Pray.tokyo original text, curated data, UI, logos, designs, and other content belong to Pray.tokyo operators or their respective rights holders.
Rights in official facility pages, external map data, third-party services, and third-party content belong to their respective rights holders.
If you provide contact information through Google Forms or similar tools, we use it only to verify submissions, contact you for clarification, prevent abuse, and decide whether to publish information.
We do not publish contributor contact information on public pages. Submission data may be stored in third-party services such as Google Forms, Google Sheets, or Google Drive.
Submissions, review notes, and publication candidate data are retained as needed for operation. Information that is no longer needed, incorrect, or potentially infringing may be deleted, corrected, or unpublished where reasonable.
Pray.tokyo operators may change, suspend, or discontinue listings, features, URLs, data update policies, or operating methods without prior notice.
To the extent permitted by law, Pray.tokyo operators are not liable for damages arising from use of listed information, whether a facility can be used, travel, external links or services, submissions, or service changes or suspension.
The service is not provided for emergencies, safety-critical decisions, or uses requiring precise location information.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. To the extent permitted by law, the Tokyo District Court will be a court of agreed jurisdiction for disputes relating to the service in the first instance. This does not intend to exclude any court that users may use under consumer protection rules or other mandatory laws.
The Japanese version of these Terms is the official version, and the English version is provided as a reference translation. If there is any conflict, the Japanese version prevails.
When these Terms are updated, the revised terms and last updated date will be shown on this page. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
